Addendum to the Mattson's Vacation
Just wanted to post some very funny pictures we took of the kids when our friends the Mattson's stopped over on their way home from their family vacation to Mass. It was the end of a long and exciting week for them, but the highlight of our week! Garner was SO excited to see them especially Jared, who had a 4 year old companion glued to his side from the moment they arrived. He's a good sport. The kids were watching a movie and I came down stairs to find G petting his arm saying " I luz you so much Jawed! I missed you!" The next week he included "and please bless the Mattson's can come back" in every prayer.

Trick Or Treat 2009
Halloween! Yay! This holiday has become fun once again as we now have kids and especially an almost 4 year old who can fully appreciate the holiday where complete strangers will hand out candy to any one ringing their doorbell. Sadly Garner wasn't feeling very well, but we still went out for a little while, mostly in our neighborhood. Don't worry we still got tons of candy. Here's our little "Super Why" and "Princess Presto." From the PBS show "Super Readers."They are story book characters with the "super powers" to Read, spell, say the alphabet and rhyme. Josh and I were going to dress up as well, but didn't have time to make costumes. Ugg...can't seem to find the pictures...Josh where are the Halloween Pics? Get back to you all laters...Carving Pumpkins
Playing catch up. Kids have been/are sick (Again. Again? Again.)
Carving Pumpkins! This was a bit ambitious given that Josh had been gone a few days, and mostly this activity involved trying to keep Maggie from eating the goo, and Mommy trying not to yell when someone reached for the carving knife for the 10th time. But in the end we had some pumpkins. Ta Da!
